Pro-Lite started making road wheels and frames in a farm house in the North of England and that same build philosophy has remained through until today when the wheels are still built 100% by hand by experienced builders in the mountains of Taiwan. The primary goal is to build a wheel that is fast, through a combination of optimal power transfer, low rolling resistance and real-world aerodynamics. Find the best wheel for you below.

Road wheels are the most common type of wheel for serious recreational cycling. Road wheels fall into a few different basic categories, so you will find some wheels designed to be lighter for faster acceleration or climbing, some to be more aerodynamic and others to be more durable for all-season use. Please note that as of 2026 production year, the A42 rim is no longer available. For now, we will be using a 33mm rim to replace the A42 and a 27mm rim to replace the A30.
